I have to say that if there ever was a "babe" in federal politics, it would be Belinda Stronach. I would have to say that Conservative right-wing propaganda always sounded better from her than anyone else. But now she's defected and joined the Liberal party.
Hey, hold on... can politicians do that? Jean Charest did it when he switched from a Federal PC to a Provincial Liberal. This really shows that the ideologies of the political parties can really be swapped at a moment's notice for these guys. In the end, it's all about seizing opportunity for power... and I really think that's why Belinda did what she did. I'll let you judge what that says about her integrity and character.
