China's panda breeding program seems to be going well. This involves the artifical insemination of pandas, because pandas are notoriously incompetant at propagating themselves. While pandas are undeniably cute, they are also a complete failure as an animal species.Further proof of this can be found here, where "Man bites Panda Bear." People seem to forget that while the panda bear is cute, it's still a BEAR! The problem here is that a drunk was able to bite the panda in the first place. I mean, how many people have bitten a grizzly bear or a tiger? While drunk? And lived to tell about it?
I say we should channel our resources to saving more capable animals. Ones that don't crush their cubs while sleeping and only eat one type of food.

Pandas are not actually bears, children. They are closer to marsupials! Crikey!
I'm arguing to discontinue the Panda species entirely, so I guess it really doesn't matter if I have my way.
You're probably right though. Panda's don't seem much like bears, unless you include the koala bear... which is clearly a bear and not a marsupial. ;)
