At a recent press conference, Microsoft announced that with schematics obtained from FASA Interactive, they have formed a new mobile weapons division. "Imagine the security and stability of a Microsoft operating system at the heart of a fully-armed nuclear powered battlemech. The idea simply cannot fail," a triumphant Bill Gates explained.
The company indicated that prototypes of several lightweight mechs are already under construction. These include the Owens, the Raven, and the Firefly. Contruction of larger mech prototypes, such as the Thor and the Madcat, are scheduled to begin in early 2007.
