My $1 Trillion Dollar Bailout Plan for Greece

If you've been following the news, you'll have heard that European leaders have approved a 750 billion Euro plan to save Greece's sorry ass. (Well, judging by the riots... they don't look all that sorry.) That roughly translates to $1 trillion dollars. To put that into context, the United States financial bailout plan of Sept 2008 was only $700 billion dollars. The Greek bailout equals about $90,000 per Greek citizen. I've tried to quantify that in the following examples:

My Big Fat Greek Wedding:
Why worry about Greek economics, when you can watch 14,950 DVD's of My Big Fat Greek Wedding from Amazon.ca

Oyzo:
The stress of watching your country's debt rating crumble can be numbed by each citizen drinking 3600 bottles of 700ml Oyzo from the LCBO

Grease Blu-Ray:
If they get bored of re-watching My Big Fat Greek Wedding, each Greek citizen can own 4324 Grease Blu-ray's from Amazon.ca

Quicken Cash Manager:
To prevent this mess from happening again, each Greek citizen can purchase 2000 copies of Quicken Cash Manager to help manage their personal and national finances.

Souvlaki Dinner:
Greek citizens won't need to worry about getting hungry. Their bailout money could buy each of them 11,250 souvlaki dinners.
